The Wedding of Nicole and Zachariah

Zac called the Houston Heights Association today to reserve Marmion Park for the ceremony.

He also emailed them just to make sure.

They responded by saying that they weren’t making reservations until after the first of January, 2006.

So … he sent out an email asking his mom and Kolie if we should bribe them.

Laurin (Zac’s mom) proceeded to contact people in the association to work out a deal.  It turns out that the reason they weren’t booking is because they didn’t have a volunteer anymore to check after it was rented to see if the renters should get their deposits back.  Laurin offered to be that volunteer in exchange for a guarantee of 1 July 2006 for the wedding.

They agreed and we are submitting the money and the paperwork tomorrow.
